Makeup Goodies
And let me just add on that this “Penny Talk” from Essie is probably the
coolest nail polish I’ve ever tried/owned. I noticed a James Bond gold
leaf “‘18 Karat Gold” nail polish for 30 freakin bucks from OPI and was
completely bummed, because I’ve seen lots of cool metallic nail polishes
online (mainly tumblr) and i REALLY wanted one, but i had yet to find
something like this, especially for so cheap. It’s a really strong
goldish/copper (hence “Penny”) metallic that has very great coverage.
While at the store I only swiped on a single layer and it’s absolutely
opaque. it looks a little green while stile in the bottle, but i guess
that’s the “patina” that’s found on pennies ;) but once you apply it,
the color is unbelievable, i find it rather perfect. Love it! :3
Goes on almost clear, but looks fucking awesome at night! This one is used when I go through my clubber/rave/crazy-spastic/whatever phase and apply it to long ass acrylics. Glow in the dark nail polish from American Apparel.

Tina Carlyle
I've been thinking of bleaching & then dying my hair blonde off and on for about three/four
weeks now. I can't decide if I'd feel like me with blonde locks....and I really can't stand the thought of having one, single color cover my whole head. Also for the last two weeks, I've considered going darker.........after just now seeing a gif of Cameron Diaz in The Mask, I'm reminded, or the uptienth time, of why I wanted to color my hair in the first place. I'm a very visual person, so when I see something that I like I'm really drawn to it, so all i keep seeing is these beautiful blondes and gorgeous raven haired goth girls.

Sinister
we went to see Sinister
yesterday, and yeah, no i don’t recommend it (i thought i’d have
nightmares, but they have yet to come…hopefully WON’T). for someone who
loves creepy shit, that movie didn’t sit right with me. i mean i won’t
even post gifs of it. maybe it’s just me and since everyone reacts
differently to different situations, so maybe it won’t be as frightening
to someone else. the soundtrack really did it for me. of course they
edit the movie so that that creepy ass music plays the loudest at the
scariest parts, i know i wouldn’t have been as afraid if the music
didn’t fluctuate as much, the visuals wouldn’t creep me out as much
without the support of the soundtrack.
but anyway, the story if pretty much The Amityville Horror with a little twist. You can pretty much tell what’ll happen once the story begins, but there are little surprises here and there. The one thing that sets this movie apart from other horror movies is the creepy factor. I guess that’s the point, but the ‘home movies’ recording style, all filmed at night, sets a very appropriate tone for this genre. The murders in the movie were creative, that’s so sick to say, but I’ve never seen these ideas before. The whole talk of Pagan beliefs & deities and Norwegian Black Metal (my sister and I looked at each other at that part) hit a little close to home, even if it was just in passing; these little things that are also personal, made this one a little scarier for me. So it was original from that standpoint, but the main character reeked of Johnny Depp in the Secret Window and the children ghosts seemed sorta inexperienced & their makeup sucked so bad. Maybe it was a low budget (???) The film, for the most part, had original ideas, so i def see why The Daily Targum gave this one a B. I think the story needed a little more development, and felt too short. My favorite is how the whole family slept through EVERYTHING.

Staunton Hill
i just went and watched Staunton Hill after
this gif popped up on my dash. i got really excited about watching this
as i was reading the synopsis, since i absolutely ADORE ‘Crazy Redneck
Slashers’ AND because that fat lady from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning was
gon be in it. i gotta say that was one of the worst crap shoots i’ve
ever seen. just because your father is George Romero, doesn’t mean you
should follow suit, especially if this is the quality of your work. now
that is what i call riding on the coattails of yo daddy.
